Gardens

It's too early to have spring fever, but I've totally got it! Probably because some of my seed catalogs have arrived and I've been sifting through looking at all the wonderful things I could grow this year. We'll start the seeds indoors here in about 2-3 weeks, so I've got to get my garden ideas set.  I want to grow lots of different and unique fruits, vegtables and flowers--let me tell you, this year is going to be in a word-AMAZING! I plan on revamping the old garden space and creating new spaces and generally just planting a lot. That being said, I also intend on reading up on different preserving methods. Last year I did some pickling and jamming, but most of the harvest ended up in the freezer. This year I'd like to try different ways of preserving.  For me, gardening is as addictive as it is therapudic. I'm excited to get the growing season started. I hope that I can make my garden everything I envision and that it produces a lot!
