Family Pictures

This year we decided to do something a little different for our family pictures. I had my friend Angie, who happens to have just graduated this year with a degree in photography, come over to take them for us. We just did some shots around the property. I think they turned out perfect :)

 Yes, this is what you are thinking it is! My official due date is April 14th. We decided to spill the beans to family last night at dinner. We had planned on making the announcement next weekend, but as it turns out my parents are planning a trip to Fairbanks then, so we decided it was now or never. It worked out well since Megan was here for the weekend for a conference, so we were able to tell her in person too. We are planning on using these pictures for a postcard of sorts to mail to family and friends, just didn't have time yet since things were bumped up.
It was a typical family dinner and as we were finishing up eating, Trevor had mentioned that it was getting too quiet. I decided that was the time so I casually said we had gotten family photos done and started passing them out to everyone. It took a minute for them to read the sign and for it to sink in. My mom started shouting for my dad to come over and see the picture and all the women were in tears--my dad too :) It took my mom about 20 mins to stop crying...it has been a long time coming, so I suppose it can't be helped :) 
We are definitely going to be finding out the gender and that will be around Thanksgiving time. So far everything looks good and I have been doing alright too. Just a wee bit of morning sickness within the last few weeks, but not too bad. I should be getting to the end of that business hopefully within the next week or two...
