I can't believe we're already almost done with November. I've been meaning to catch up on my blogging skills, but I don't for-see that happening any time soon, so here is October in a nutshell. We did all the crazy fun Halloween stuff we could squeeze in--haunted houses, scary movies, carving pumpkins and costume parties. I have always dreamed of having a hoop skirt and big floofy dresses to go with it. So this year I thought,"why not go all out?" So I made up my hoop skirt (that still needs a couple finishing touches actually, though this shouldn't be surprising), a petticoat, and a floofy blue dress. We went as Christine and the Phantom from the Phantom of the Opera. With this blog as my witness, one day I will have my masquerade ball! David told me once upon a time that he would build me a ball room in our future house, specifically for entertaining and having parties, so for now I am biding my time... Due to our church having their roadshows and the YSA having their dance, our party was more like a few friends getting together to play games, but it was still fun. Maybe next year we'll have our timing just right so everyone can come partake in the good times! And in other not so Halloweeny news--on October 25 in the wee hours of the morning I became an Auntie for the 6th time. My little sister (my only little sister), Megan, had her baby William Kenneth Anderson. He is so cute and all about his sleep. That's pretty much all I've ever seen him do thus far, but I have a sneaking suspicion that's not all he's up too...So there you have October in a paragraph. Wish there was more to add to it, but such is the life of a working wife.
