New Family Member

This is Carly. I knew Sam was becoming attached to the puppies I fostered and I've been telling David it was time to expand our family for a long time now, so when I spied Carly on craigslist I jumped. She was a 3 year old female puggle (same breed as Sam), already house/crate trained and she was free. David isn't the greatest with change and he claims he's a 1 dog kind of guy, so I was shocked when he told me I could call about her/ set up a meet and greet. So I called and got the scoop on her and we brought Sam over to see her. It was a good sign when neither of them barked or howled at each other and for me, it was love at first sight. So we took a night to think on it and talked about it for a bit, but never really came to any conclusion. So the next day when I shot Dave a text to see what I should tell Carly's owners, I was shocked when he said I could get her. I mean, I was fully prepared to have to say no to her, but by the grace of heaven, my husband said yes! So now, we've had Carly for nearly 3 weeks and I think it's safe to say we have both fallen for her. She didn't like David so much at first, but now she's a total daddy's girl. Here are some things to know about Carly: she's a little neurotic spaz (she has to sleep in her kennel, otherwise she's all over the room going nuts), she snores like a beast, she's got a lot of the same mannerisms/characteristics as Sammy and she's not afraid to let you know when she needs your attention and practically demands it at times. Sam has decided he likes her too. They follow each other around the house and chase each other inside the house and outside (Sam has actually lost weight since she came, probably due to the running around with Carly) and they snuggle together in the sunshine. They are pretty darn cute and I don't regret bringing her home one bit!
